Growing Up on the Autism Spectrum: A Family Experience

During the workshop you will learn what to expect when raising a child on the spectrum from birth to independence. You will gain understanding of the stages of a family life cycle and their relevance to how you support your autistic child and other family members. You will also discover ways to nurture you and your family’s emotional needs while raising your child with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Caron Starobin has been in practice since 2000 as an individual, couples, family, and group therapist. Through a process of self-observation, clients find their vitality and resiliency and learn ways to take an active role in creating change in their lives. Caron uses social and communication training methods in groups for people living with Autism and is a PEERs for young adults certified provider.
