Join us to learn about the Maryland state legislature’s bill implementing some of the Kirwan Commission’s recommendations for improving public school education in Maryland. We will find out how the bill's $850 million in extra state spending over the next two years will affect programs in MCPS special education, and we'll find out what we can do to advocate for the programs furthering the education of our children. Participants will have plenty of time for questions and discussion.  Stay after and enjoy refreshments!
