Eric Jorgensen is a Special Needs Advisor, a role he created after he lost his wife to a sudden illness and grew frustrated at the difficulty of navigating the maze of services his son needs. As a Special Needs Advisor his focus is helping families understand what they need to do for their child(ren), providing an individualized roadmap for every client.

In this presentation he will touch on the 10 most frequent topics he encounters with clients - risk management, parents' goal setting (giving themselves permission to have a life), parents' retirement, public benefits after 18, next steps after 18 (guardianship, self-direction, etc), Social Security, college planning, taxes, estate planning & ABLE accounts.
