PEERS® is an evidence-based treatment program developed by UCLA to teach teens with social communication needs how to make and keep friends. Through didactic learning instruction, role-play, and “opportunities to practice” teens will learn the steps necessary to foster interpersonal relationships. The PEERS model includes a social coaching component for parents and family members.

Dates: First session is on Thursday April 30; runs weekly through May.

PEERS FLEX is facilitated by Susan M. Abrams M.A. CCC-SLP and Joy Kolb, Ph.D., BCBA-D. Ms. Abrams is a certified provider of the UCLA PEERS® program in addition to completing the Social Thinking Clinical Training Program in San Jose, CA. Dr. Kolb is a licensed psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with expertise in CBT and behavioral interventions.
