The Impact and Experience of Online Instruction: Q&A with Sarah Wayland, Ph.D. and Students on the Spectrum

An xMinds Event

The new school year is here, and we want all our students on the autism spectrum to be successful!

With this goal in mind, xMinds is offering parents and students the opportunity to direct their questions concerning distance learning to two students on the autism spectrum, one of whom communicates with the assistance of an AAC device.  Parent coach, special needs navigator, and research psychologist Sarah Wayland, Ph.D will also be answering questions and moderating the discussion.

Please submit your questions when you register (until 10/8). You will have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A also, as time permits.

Guest Speakers:

Sarah Wayland, Ph.D will moderate and answer questions from 11am to 12:30pm

Cree Costello, 9th grader in the Asperger's Program at Walter Johnson High School will answer questions from 11 to 11:45am

Jack Allnutt, 12th grader at Quince Orchard High School will answer questions from 11:45am to 12:30pm.  Jack will communicate with the assistance of an AAC device.
