Dates: Saturday mornings, September 17th - December 10th 2022 (No class on 11/26). 12 week program with weekly parent groups.

Location: 11614 Seven Locks Road, Rockville, MD 20854. Fall 2022 program will be held onsite and in-person; however, the classes may switch to virtual for a period of time if the health situation necessitates.

Designed and co-authored by Ivymount professionals, Ivymount Outreach's Unstuck and On Target! Saturday Program is an intensive executive function and social intervention learning experience for the entire family.

This semester-long program is perfect for children (ages 7-14) who struggle to understand: 

- Self-Advocacy

- Compromise

- How to be a Friend

- Differentiating between "Choice" and "No Choice" Situations

- Emotional Self-Identification

- Executive Functioning Skills

- Verbal and Non-verbal Social Cues

- How to be a Successful Member of a Group

- Flexibility

Ivymount's Unstuck Program is implemented by a trained team of highly experienced professionals who also teach the curriculum at Ivymount School.

Unstuck and On Target!'s parent educational groups teach parents how to embed the Unstuck strategies in dozens of everyday scenarios, from morning routines to getting homework done. Our teachers give parents the skills they need to help their children successfully navigate each day, reach their goals, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
