This live, virtual presentation addresses executive functioning skills, which are essential as adolescents launch into adulthood – but those skills don’t always arrive in our brains in a certain timeline. In our talk, we will define different aspects of executive functioning and provide ideas for how to support challenges in this area. We will also discuss the diagnosis of ADHD, which has accompanying executive functioning difficulties, including treatment options and common misconceptions.

Dr. Frederiksen and Dr. Rothman of The Stixrud Group will present their insights and knowledge in this presentation and will be able to take questions at the end of the presentation.
