As we prepare our children for kindergarten, parents often think about academic readiness, but social-emotional readiness is the key to a smooth transition. Please join Naomi Rubinstein, M.Ed., Family Educator and Social Learning Specialist, and other parents to discuss how to set up our children for success in kindergarten.

About Naomi:

Naomi holds her M.Ed. in Childhood Education from Hunter College. She has been an educator for over 15 years, and worked as a teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools and as the Social Skills Specialist in a preschool. Her experience has provided her with the opportunity to work collaboratively with various practitioners and families to create and execute educational plans to meet the needs of the whole child. Her practice is informed by various methodologies, including a variety of social learning, language and executive functioning techniques. She strives to use each child’s unique strengths and interests to support challenges.
