Come to get your most pressing IEP question answered for free by an education advocate! 

In addition to individual private IEP consultations for people with scheduled consults, there will be two presentations about IEPs followed by question and answer sessions.

12:30 - 1:15:  "The Parts of an IEP Explained" presented by education consultant Donna Sagona of Educational Resources Group of Greater Washington, followed by 40-minute Q&A.

2:00 - 2:45:  "I Disagree with the IEP Team: What Are My Options?" presented by education attorney Kimberly Glassman, Esq., followed  by a 40-minute Q&A.

These presentations will be in the cafeteria while individual consultations will be in classrooms from 12:30 to 3:30.

Advance registration is required to receive an individual consult. No registration is required to attend the presentations. 

Snacks:  Snacks will be supplied.

Tendrá una consulta individual de 25 minutos, en persona, con un defensor educativo, así como la oportunidad de escuchar a los padres hablar sobre los programas de educación especial de MCPS a los que sus hijos han asistido. Usted tendrá la oportunidad de formular preguntas a los panelistas sobre las ubicaciones que le interesan.

Además de las consultas privadas individuales del IEP, habrá dos presentaciones generales con sesiones de preguntas y respuestas.
