Join xMinds on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 PM for a virtual event to learn about recent changes to autism services at Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). This is your opportunity to share your stories about how special education is being delivered to your child this school year. Parents will have the chance to provide 2 minutes of testimony each, detailing the impact these changes have had on their child's education. 

If you would like to provide live or written testimony, complete this registration process and then fill out the Request to Give Testimony form, linked here: https://forms.gle/BwGwBNnzSmwx6SvaA 

MCPS special education administrators have been invited to attend and listen but will not be taking questions during the session. Testimonies will be organized by the specific grade and discrete program including Autism Connections, Autism Resource Services, and Darnestown Elementary Learning Center.

While not everyone may have the opportunity to provide testimony, your presence is vital. A strong turnout will help advocate for autistic students and ensure their voices are heard. Join us in showing support!

Esta es su oportunidad para compartir sus experiencias sobre cómo se está brindando la educación especial a su hijo este año escolar. Los padres tendrán la oportunidad de brindar un testimonio de 2 minutos cada uno, detallando el impacto que estos cambios han tenido en la educación de sus hijos.

Se ha invitado a los administradores de educación especial de las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Montgomery a asistir y escuchar, pero no responderán ninguna pregunta ni proporcionarán comentarios durante la sesión.
