This webinar explores the sense of interoception and its critical role in student participation, self-awareness, and self-regulation. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how interoceptive awareness impacts daily living skills, emotional regulation, and classroom functioning across school environments. Attendees will learn practical, evidence-based approaches for how interoception can be integrated into universal supports, targeted interventions, and individualized strategies to promote student success.

Participants will:

  • Define interoception and describe its impact on student participation, self-regulation, and daily living skills within the school environment
  • Identify evidence-based practices and practical applications to support interoceptive awareness and self-regulation
  • Learn how interoceptive supports and interventions can be implemented at the universal, targeted, and individualized levels in a school setting
