  Parents Together supports groups for parents of autistic children, adolescents, and young adults. The groups is a facilitated group offering parents emotional support, social connection, information and resources and aims to strengthen the parents' internal and external emotional support systems and also help parents navigate the maze of services for their children, adolescents, and young adults.

  Come pamper yourself! In this one hour online session, certified mindfulness teacher and parent coach, Magüi Moreno, will share simple and realistic self-care practices specifically designed for parents of autistic children.

  • April 28: Daily mindfulness practices in 10 minutes or less.

  • May 19: Connecting with our autistic kids as mindfulness.

  Don’t miss the Spring Special Education Family Resource Fair on Saturday, May 10th at Seneca Valley High School. This free event is open to MCPS parents, staff and community members. 

  The fair will include many diverse and valuable resources from our community, and fun activities for kids.

  A variety of MCPS special education offices, community organizations and government agencies will be on hand to present information and resources and services to parents and caregivers.

  Getting to Date #1...and Beyond is a Weekend Dating Workshop for neurodivergent young adults and their parents. Facilitators Jamell White, PhD & LCSW-C and Caron Starobin LCSW-C will lead sessions designed to give young adults who are curious about or ready for romantic relationships new skills & confidence.
